Começou no dia 5 de Abril com a apresentação do “Like the Wolf” na Fnac Coimbra. Tocar em Coimbra é sempre muito importante para nós, afinal é a nossa cidade, são os nossos amigos, a nossa gente, e foram eles os primeiros a conhecer o lobo. Foi para uma Fnac a rebentar pelas costuras que tocámos pela primeira vez alguns dos temas que nos têm acompanhado há muitos meses e que respiraram pela primeira vez um espaço de partilha fora do covil. Contámos com a preciosa ajuda do Miro no som e com o Marco Silva na bateria. O Marco foi uma surpresas que tínhamos preparadas para essa tarde e vai passar a acompanhar-nos, para pôr o “Like the Wolf” na estrada o mais fielmente possível ao álbum.
Segunda seguimos para Norte, Fnac de Stª Catarina e de Braga. Oh well, o Norte!!! :D Esquecer a máquina fotográfica foi muito grave, mas há polaroids de momentos muito especiais registados já na nossa memória. O hotel perdido no arvoredo do Bom Jesus, o trio jigsaw de pijama a tentar assaltar a cozinha de madrugada, o João da recepção que, à segunda noite, tinha tíbias de Braga e uma garrafa de tinto à nossa espera, os passeios matinais no Bom Jesus, o encontro nocturno com o Jaime, no Beco com Saída, a francesinha no Vianna, a visita guiada a uma loja de instrumentos antigos, os desenhos do Luís Belo, em Viseu, o molho de mostarda no Lugar do Capitão… pode dizer-se que regressámos a sul de alma cheia!
The first days of the road
The last few days have been agitated for the pack: the presentation of the album, showcases, trips.
It Began on the 5th of April with the presentation of "Like the Wolf" at Fnac Coimbra. Playing in Coimbra is always very important to us, after all it’s our city, it’s our friends, our people, and they were the first to know about the wolf. Fnac was really packed and we played for the first time some of songs that we have followed for so many months and it was the first time of sharing outside the Den. We counted with the invaluable help of Miro in the sound and Marco Silva on drums. Marco was a surprise that we had prepared for this afternoon and now he’s going to follow us, to take "Like the Wolf" on the road as closely as possible to the album.
On Monday we went North, Fnac de St ª Catarina and Braga. Oh well, the North! : D Forgeting the camera was really bad, but there are very special moments in polaroids already recorded in our memory. The hotel lost in the trees of Bom Jesus, the trio of jigsaw with pajamas trying to rob the kitchen at dawn, João at the reception than on the second night, had tibias from Braga and a bottle of red waiting for us, the morning walks on the Good Jesus, the night meeting with Jaime, at the alley with a way out, the Francesinha at Vianna, a guided tour of a store of old instruments, the drawings of Luis Belo in Viseu, the mustard sauce in the place of the Captain ... one could say we’ve returned to the south with a full soul!
